Komeshni specialised in commercial law focussing on technology contracts and legal risk management for over 15 years.
She has been engaged on projects for expert advisory/insights work for a range of organisations nationally, regionally and internationally. Through various organisations, across the continent, she has served as a legal mentor for the past 10 years.
She strives to ensure that the legal implications of tech law in this 4th Industrial Revolution are understood by the next generation of tech entrepreneurs shaping our continent’s future.
Her work has included serving on various fora, committees, and boards enabling women in tech, internet governance, and technology innovation.
Komeshni's passion is the upliftment of African entrepreneurs whilst enabling tech-inspired futures.
The empowerment of female African entrepreneurs is a foundational strategy at Zella Tech Law and she accordingly works with programs and accelerators focused on female founders and creating a future of great leaders for Africa.
Interests: At her core - Komeshni is a curious being. She is always interested in the nature of an object, and the mechanics behind what makes something work hence the natural attraction to the technology. Similarly, she is curious about our human condition, our nature, and what drives us. So reading about everything related to astrology or philosophy or self-help books is an interest. Reading across these two topics easily draws her down the rabbit hole! And of course, the love of reading!
